The New Faculty Building of the Faculty of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Marine Science is located here. The environment is calm and nice. This place is located inside the Sheikh Kamal Faculty Building at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. Part of the 7th Floor, all of the 8th and maximum part of 9th floor is allocated for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Marine Science Faculty. Six departments are offering courses for the undergraduate students till now (2023). These are: 1. Department of Fisheries Biology and Genetics 2. Department of Aquaculture 3. Department of Fishing and Post Harvest Technology 4. Department of Aquatic Animal Health Management 5. Department of Aquatic Environment and Resource Management 6. Department of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography Among these 6 departments, only three departments are currently offering Master degrees (2023). These are: 1. Department of Fisheries Biology and Genetics 2. Department of Aquaculture 3. Department of Fishing and Post Harvest Technology Only the first batch graduated from this faculty till now (2023) and currently the 5th batch is the youngest batch studying here. 6th batch will get admitted to the Faculty very soon (Orientation program of 6th batch will be held on February 28, 2023). Currently there are 21 teachers (January, 2023) and 6 adjunct faculties are teaching more than 200 students in this faculty.
