It is one of the oldest Department in BSMMU. It is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. The services provided here are cross matching and compatibility testing of all Blood products. There is also facility for platelet apheresis and Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE). There is day care services available from 8am to 2:30pm from Saturday to Thursday.
